I did have quite a bit written but it was unreadable. This blog is dying a slow, painful death, I'm afraid. I've looked back at it and realized that I haven't written anything good for at least three years, maybe longer.
I've got the same feelings with my own writings (and everything else but my music making). Perhaps it's just the loosing of interest in it... a kind of Matrix-like Total Insight and carelessness. I think we should not fight it and keep hanging on, but give in & do something else magnificent. A benign silence is better than forced prose.
Or just wait for the juices to start flowing again. It can always come back. I'll be here. And I think you haven't written anything not good, ever. What I like about your writing is that it's always completely honest. Honest can never be bad; fake can never be good.
You may not have heard of them, Dave, but there are software programs that allow you to write stuff and save it in a file. Then you can just copy the file into the blog. If you hit the wrong button and delete it instead of posting it, you can simply copy it and try again.
I hope you find one of these word processing programs...I love reading your race reports and was very sad this one disappeared.
Thanks, Jen, but it was not sad that this one disappeared. It was a disaster. But yes, I do have a very powerful word processor called Notepad which I may use in the future, if I ever decide to write anything again.
My thoughts exactly: don't stop blogging! Its rewards are, in comparisson to Facebook much smaller, the public much quieter, the message standing naked and alone and the fun less than half the fun you can have in the Land of the Blue Thumb... but damnit your blog is so much better.

Does 'errant' mean accidental, or something else? Sorry if you lost the story by error. Glad you had fun.

But still you come by. Thank you, Martijn.

Don't stop blogging, Dave! Your blog is not dying .... it's, it's ..... EVOLVING. And you know, that can take quite a number of years.
xxx
