Yep, he's pretty cool! He taught me how to set up this Z-drag. I've never carried a pin kit before but decided to start after a friend of mine seperated his bicep unpinning a small kayak in fairly easy water. He was slipping in and out of shock during the hike out because of the pain. It was a hideous injury with a long and painful recovery. Besides, if I have it with me, it's very unlikely that I'll ever need to use it.
